Alaturka in Wuppertal

Go on a trip, a really extraordinary restaurant! The food from the clay oven is really delicious. The starters are also amazing. Desserts a dream. If it is possible again you should reserve a table there. Reservation would be useful! It is well attended. The restaurant is the insider tip for Wuppertal. For the Bergische Land. Not 0815. Prepared and served with love. Really something special. In the middle of the beautiful Luisenviertel. A dream you can taste. Parking is best in the multi-storey car park Friedrich-Ebert Str. 88-90 - directly under the Kodi. Parking spaces are very rare in this area. - ps: this rating is really real! I have seldom eaten as well as I did there. I come from the hotel and gastronomy industry and have seen almost nothing comparable to what I saw at Alaturka

On the whole, the visit to this restaurant was okay. The ambience was appealing. It didn't convince me from a culinary point of view. For the price-performance ratio, you can definitely eat better in Wuppertal.

We ate excellent there again today. Owners and employees are always friendly ... you feel welcome. Will not be the last visit. :-)

Reserved a table inside by phone. When we (four of us) arrived on time, the waitress told us that there was only something left outside. On my comment: "Then you could have saved yourself the reservation." Then I became the good lady still puffy. Missed the chance. 🤷🏾‍♂️

Been there for the first time and definitely not for the last time. Great service and great food. Four of us had the large starter platter (enough for 4 people) and then I had the mixed grill plate. I can only recommend it!

We had a good meal again. Unfortunately, the food came very quickly after the starters. The criticism of the heavily salted lamb was more or less rejected by the condition as mediocre.

Was delicious as always. We were served very well and friendly again. The only thing that bothered me, our table was too small for 6 people, clearly we have to consider that we have other times with Corona, only that was definitely too narrow. And maybe for a weather like today, where it is warm and there are only short showers, put up parasols. We had to hurry, it wouldn't have been an issue with an umbrella.

Great Turkish food shop with very tasty dishes. The service is professional and courteous. Problems are solved satisfactorily and the atmosphere in the restaurant is good. I always like to be here!

There were three of us at Alaturka, we ordered a large vegetarian starter, three vegetarian main courses, drank 4 specialties and paid € 71. The starter was delicious, I would order it again. A few years ago, when we were still eating meat, we really liked it here. The service was friendly and the atmosphere relaxed.

Flavorful food. Great baklava. Only con would be a small beer selection but I'm happy ingot beer though.

For those looking for something different than your typical German cuisine, Alaturka is a must try. A taste of Turkey. (Not that I can compare or have ever been lol) The food is excellent and portion sizes generous. The staff are friendly and service is excellent at an affordable price circa €20-30/person. A cosy atmosphere with a log fire in winter. Be warned however book in advance, this place is very popular.

Ordered Baklava and Turkish tea. Both were very fresh. Very helpful staff and really a nice environment. The Baklava came with fruits (yellow melon apple oranges gold strawberry) topped with pistachio powder. I loved it. Lovely Turkish music being played in the back ground.

I have eaten several times in this restaurant, when I have had to come to town for work. The service has always been very good and the food exquisite. The truth is that it is worth coming if you like Turkish food.

Good food with reasonable prices (not cheap, but not that expensive). If you like Turkish food, its a good option. The staff is really nice and the place is usually crowded.
